Peer Support

PeerLink is a transformative initiative designed to empower college students by fostering supportive connections and promoting mental well-being in the Central Florida Collegiate Circuit. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by students in higher education, PeerLink creates a safe, inclusive space where peers can come together to share experiences, offer encouragement and build a sense of community.

Through facilitated peer support groups with a Certified Recovery Peer Specialist, PeerLink addresses common concerns such as academic stress, mental health challenges, struggles with substance use and the quest for belonging. By connecting students with others who understand their unique challenges, PeerLink not only provides the emotional support, but equips participants with practical coping strategies and resources for personal growth.

At its core, PeerLink believes that no student should feel alone in navigating the complexities of college life. By fostering meaningful relationships and reducing stigma around seeking help, PeerLink creates a campus culture that prioritizes connection, resiliency and shared success.

Our current meetings are once a month per campus: PeerLink Pegasus Edition at University of Central Florida: UCFPD Resource Office in the Student Union, second Wednesday of every month at 3pm for an hour.

PeerLink Full Sail at Full Sail University: Military Success Center, third Tuesday of every month at 1pm for an hour.

PeerLink University: meets virtually on the 4th Saturday of every month at 11am on Zoom.
